Sangrato starts producing terracotta artifacts in the early 60s and since then the company has never stopped to improve and wide their range: exposed bricks, tiles and slim bricks with a bright red color and a high mechanical and frost resistance. The quality of the raw material is exceptional, thanks to the location in the Pianalto of Poirino, a circumscribed area in northern Italy of pure and precious clays, a clay so ductile and naturally waterproof, free from detrimental soluble salts and seashells.
Sangrato terracotta is the best solution to create housing “shell”. The products proudly show the native red color given by the pure clay of the quarry, but the company portfolio can face the most demanding architectural requirements: from coloring in paste to colored sandblasting, from the antiquing and rustication of the surface to shaded, matt or glossy glazing.
